FlipBelt-Review & Giveaway!

As a runner I am constantly trying to figure out the best way to carry my stuff.  I have tried both armbands and the SPIbelt  but have always been left with chaf marks on my back or arms from the products bouncing up and down from the weight of my phone.  At the Shamrock Marathon fitness expo I spied a solution to my seemingly never ending problem-the FlipBelt!

Basically the FlipBelt is the best way to go hands free while running and working out ( or really going anywhere and not having to worry about carrying your phone, keys, etc).  The belt is made of machine-washable high tech Spandex-Lycra blend material that is SOFT!  I mean really soft and comfortable.  It has an internal pocket system accessible from four openings around the outside of the belt and these openings do an amazing job of holding your stuff while you exercise!  After you slide the belt on (like a pair of pants), the directions say to  flip the belt inside out and everything gets locked in place.  However, the belt’s openings are so secure, I don’t even need to flip mine when running!

At first glance, I was skeptical….how would this belt be any different than everything else?  I seriously doubted the “no bounce” advertisement.    Well, let me tell you, it’s life changing!  The FlipBelt is so amazingly comfortable and it stays in place!  It fits my phone, my gels, my gum, and even my inhaler…all of which are necessities for me!  I have loved running outside with it and it also has solved my gym issue of those “dreadmill” runs!  No more sticking my phone in the treadmill and hoping it doesn’t pop out of the holder.  No more having wires all over in a tangled mess!  Now I can stick my phone right in the FlipBelt and not worry about my phone touching the treadmill germs (yes, I’m  a germaphobe)!  It also solves my issue of sometimes forgetting my stuff on the treadmill(whoops)!

I ordered the FlipBelt in black because nearly all of my exercise bottoms are black and I wanted it to blend in. If you’re more of a color person-have no fear, there are tons of bright and beautiful colors to choose from.  If you’re wondering how this non-adjustable belt fits everyone,  it comes in many different sizes. Their sizes range from extra small to extra large so you’re sure to find one just right for you!

Now for the best part!  FlipBelt has given me TWO (2) FlipBelts to give away! That means 2 lucky readers will be able to work out hands free!

I purposely try not to bring along anything with me because I have no where to put! I normally do where an arm band to carries my phone so I have music to listen to and I’ll stick a key or my id in there. This sounds perfect though!

I have tried different things to carry my stuff while running. I try to buy running tights with the zippered pouch in the back, but that’s not always big enough. I tie my ignition key to the ties on my tights of on my shoelaces usually. :-/

These days I exercise by taking walks with the dog. I just put my wallet and keys in my jeans pockets. But when I used to go to the gym, I’d wear yoga pants and a tshirt, so no pockets. I’d put my bag in the corner or near my treadmill and just try to keep an eye on it, but it never made me feel very secure. This belt sounds cool!

A lot of times I just carry one of those small water bottles with an elastic that goes over your hand and I have a arm band for my iphone (for longer runs). I’m looking forward to giving the Flipbelt a try!

I wear a waterbelt sometimes but that gets heavy. Sometimes I carry things in my pockets…that sucks :/

I work out at home normally so I don’t bring much. But I have an armband and a case on my side that I can carry my phone and my ipod in if I need to. This looks like it would be a lot easier to handle. Thanks!

It’s pretty gross but I stick my phone in my sports bra, that’s really the only thing I carry on me.

I also want to carry my car keys/house keys, and my cellphone but have no place to put them! This would be great!

I try not to bring anything when I work out and what I do bring, I leave locked in my car.

I’m new to running so I just hold my phone while listening to it. This would be really nice to have. Thank you for the giveaway!

I currently use a spibelt for carrying my phone during runs. I recently used it during a race to carry my ID, credit card, and phone. Unfortunately, I lost my credit card because the pockets open up from the front, allowing things to spill out. After that, I decided that I needed to get the Flipbelt, which has been on my radar for a while now. I am really hoping to win the FLIPBELT!

I carry normally just a water bottle and a tie my key to my shoes. This would be great! I hate things on me when I run!

I have been relying on pockets since the weather has been cool enough to wear a jacket, but now that its heating up…man I could use this belt! I had my phone in my bra wrapped in a hand-towel and it looked as ridiculous as it sounds. Also dropped it upon trying to change the song playing while running downhill. #fail

LOL I usually carry them in the band of my pants, but I’ve lost more than one thing down my leg!
