Tassimo T20 Brewbot Review and Giveaway! Ends 6/1
Believe it or not, I am not a coffee drinker. I have always said I think I am the only teacher who doesn’t drink coffee! I do however love hot tea and hot chocolate. Plus, I am married to an AVID coffee drinker! Chris would not survive a morning without his coffee. In fact, he can a bit “moody” without it. Since I don’t drink coffee, Chris was often wasting coffee by making it at home. Being the frugal woman I am, this made me very unhappy. Well, lucky for us, Tassimo T20 Brewbot came and saved the day!
The Brewbot makes one cup of coffee at a time. When my husband found out I had the opportunity to review one, I thought he was going to jump out of his skin. He was so excited and would call every day to see if it had arrived in the mail. The day it came he could barely contain himself until the boys went to bed so that he could open it and check it out. I have to say his excitement rubbed off on me! At first sight, I really loved the modern appearance of the machine and knew it would look great on our counter top. There was no assembly for the pot but you did have to do a cleaning cycle before making your first cup.
How does it work: To brew a cup, you will need to remove & fill the resevior which holds 50 oz of water. Next you select your beverage of choice. The BrewBot can brew coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, and tea. The cool part is the machine adjusts the temperature, amount of water and brew time for each different beverage in a unique way, Each beverage is made by using a “T-Disc” which contains everything for including everything for that beverage including a bar code which the machine reads to know what it is brewing and how to adjust the temperature, amount of water and brew time. You can also adjust where you put your cup up or down depending on the size of your cup & what you are brewing. There is also a manual seeting that allows you to decrease the strength of the beverage.
Does it live up to all of the hype? Yes! It saves us time, wasted coffee, and more importantly, disagreements about cleanup. Why? Because there is virtually no cleanup! Chris easily cleans up all by himself (which is a miracle in it’s self). Since our hot chocolate order has not arrived yet, I am using Chris’s opinon on the quality of coffee-he LOVES it. He says it has ruined him for coffee at work. After having coffee made in our brewbot, he doesn’t want any other coffee. Coming from a coffee addict like him, that’s a pretty high compliment! Also, Iike previously stated, it looks awesome on my counter!
