Pinterest Gone Wrong: Easy Crockpot Chicken
Are you of the million Pinterest users that are more than addicted to pinning? I love Pinterest and have always had great luck with their recipes and crafts…until now.
The picture above is my Pinterest Gone Wrong: Easy Crockpot Chicken.
When I first saw the recipe I thought it looked so great-and easy! And probably if I’d followed directions I would have been fine. However, I used frozen chicken (because I always do with NO issues) and when the stuffing began to burn in the slow cooker, I added an extra can of cream soup and and extra cup of water. As you can see, my recipe turned to MUSH. However, much to the surprise of my husband and I, it tasted AWESOME. So maybe it wasn’t a complete disaster? At any rate, here’s the original recipe….let me know if you try it!
Easy Crockpot Chicken
Ingredients:
4 Chicken Breasts
1/4 Cup Sour Cream
1 Box Stove Top Stuffing
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Cup of Water
Directions:
1. Lay Chicken on the bottom of slow cooker.
2. Dump Stove Top on the chicken.
3. Mix the can of soup, sour cream, and cup of water together and pour on top of other ingredients in the slow cooker.
4. Cook on low for 4-5 hours
