Manage Your Mess Monday-Organizing My Laundry Area

Welcome to the fourth installment of my new series “Manage Your Mess Monday”. This series will focus on organizing your life and home. My goal is to have the series last 2 months with one post per week. I hope you find some useful tips to help you manage any “mess” you may have in your life. Visit here for my past Manage Your Mess posts.

We have a very small laundry area in our home that did not provide much room for the storage I needed.  With only 1 shelf and no floor space, I definitely needed some organization!  I had my husband install a shower curtain rod that cost around $4 and he also put a couple of nails in the wall to hang items.  After adding a few baskets, my laundry area is now able to serve my needs!

Do you have a story of organizing a small space?  I would love to hear about it!

I’ve got a small laundry room too, I’ll have to give that a try. I found your blog from the guest post you did on MSM about organization. I love those hanging shoe organizers too! I have one that hangs in the closet off my kitchen – to replace my junk drawer. I have pockets for charging cords (phone, tablet, etc), spare batteries, small screwdriver, extension cord, etc… it’s great because it makes it so much more organized.
