Making Memories-Just Dance!

This series on how to make the most out of the time you have with your children is brought to you by Amee at Madame Deals and Sharon at Mom on Dealz.  This week’s post is written by Madame Deals-look for Mom on Dealz’s idea next week!

You can dance if you want to . You can leave all your cares behind. You can spend time with your children and be the parent you want to all you need is music and time. We had a super time putting on party clothes and 80′s music. We did the electric slide. Well what I could remember of it and we did the “dinosaur”. We also did the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance. The point is creativity does not require cash. The time you spend with your children is priceless and making memories is what is all about. So turn the beat around and enjoy the party. I am positive that my daughter and son had better dance moves then myself and I hope this is a memory that they will keep filed for when they have children. I know I have young children but I am sure planning a dance party for your older children could also be fun. You could help with the music and creating the decor. You could share your memories while planning for their. It is not about the actual event it is about taking a moment to make a memory.

The Memories Series came from the need I had to step back and reflect. Life is so busy. We have jobs and bills and responsibilities. We have homework to help with and laundry to do. We have lists a mile long. I crumbled mine up and decided I need to make memories with my kids. I mean when my children say you work all the time I knew I needed to make a change. I had to put away my laptop and take out my creativity. I think it is easy to forget that you can do something special with a limited amount of time and money.
