Making Memories and Flash Giveaway-Win a Recordable Book!

This series on how to make the most out of the time you have with your children is brought to you by Amee at Madame Deals and Sharon at Mom on Dealz.

When I think about all the miles between our family it reminds me that having things around that remind my children of family is important. The recordable storybooks from Hallmark allow use to bridge the gaps between our families. We love to read to our children and they love to read to themselves. I also like the messages in the book and the illustrations. You can see my son and myself enjoying a book below.

my son keeps a journal of things we do on weekends or on trips
I try and make everyday special in some way. Maybe putting a note in my childs lunch or leaving a special sticker in his planner so he can be surprised at school. Then there are the really special times like, going to a surprise movie, or just cuddle time!
I play with them as much as I can!
This would be such a special thing to do wish i could hear my grandmothers voice again.
we get glue and glitter and o boy its a mess but we really have fun i get exta photos and i place them on a paper for the kids memory book and they have a blast
Make sure to really enjoy every moment and take tons of pictures!
we homeschool so spending quality time with kids is not an issue..we are always on an outing somewhere making memories!
We spend the weekends together with the kids, go to the lakes, museums or the zoo.
Reading is definitely a great way to spend time with your children & treasure those moments.
Make an activity something special you do with the kids – the activity can be something normal, like going to the park, but make it a tradition – “your spot” or “your day” that you do together.
Watch less or no TV. Always have one on one time with each of your children. If you have family in other parts of the country have ”Skype dates” with those family members so they can keep visual contact.
