Thanks to Living on Love and Cents and Madame Deals for bringing us this post each week!
How long has it been since you and your “other half” were on a date? Seems like everyone is cutting back their spending and trying to save more. But it is so important that we continue some things like spending quality time with our significant other. Not only do we deserve it, we NEED it!
This week my husband and I are doing a date that is a little different. I want to get some furniture for the play room. Normally I shop with my kids. That is very difficult to say the least. So today my husband surprised me with arranging for a his parents to watch the kids and we are going shopping.
Then we will finish off the night at a restaurant using the voucher I got from. It is for a new restaurant that we have been wanting to try. I was able to get a $20 voucher for only $10 this week. Since I have already spent the $10 we can eat $20 worth of food and only pay for the tip!
This is a great way to enjoy each others company while doing something that needs to be done. But by going to a little extra effort so that we can do it alone we can make it a great date day! And little out of pocket costs!
FYI: If you are new to and want to know how to use it check out my video. It is a great way to date on a dime!
