Weight Watchers Chick Fil A Chicken Nuggets

We have all had them and leave the building craving them. The Chick Fil A Chicken Nuggets seem to get us all, but the fat in them is enough to cause heart attacks everywhere. These Low Fat Chick Fil A Nuggets give you that yummy crunch and flavor you expect from Chick Fil A without the traditional full fat varieties. Serve with a spicy ranch, honey mustard or your favorite low calorie dipping sauce and a side of veggies and you have a wonderful meal sure to please the whole family and only weigh in at 3 ½ Points Per Chicken Breast Tenderloin.

WEIGHT WATCHERS CHICK FIL A CHICKEN NUGGETS

1 Pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Tenderloin
1 Cup Plain Bread Crumbs
1/8 Teaspoon Celery Salt
1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
1 Teaspoon Rubbed Sage
½ Teaspoon Thyme Leaves
½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Cup Buttermilk

• Preheat oven to 375 degrees
• Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray
• Soak chicken tenderloins in small bowl of buttermilk
• In shallow dish mix together bread crumbs and seasonings.
• Remove chicken from buttermilk and dip into bread crumb mixture coating all sides.

Chick Fil A Nugget Prep
• Place chicken on pre-sprayed baking sheet
• Bake at 375 degrees for 17-20 minutes turning halfway through cook time to ensure even browning.

These are perfect served with dipping sauce, a large salad or a plate of roasted vegetables as a yummy weeknight meal and without the deep fat frying they are a great substitute for your fast food craving without the guilt.

I recently saw a Facebook picture featuring these No Bake Energy Balls (there was no blog to link to ) so I decided to change it up and use some things we had in our kitchen. Not only do my husband and I love them,but so do the boys (not that they need anymore energy)!  I also took some into some fitness teachers at YMCA tonight and they liked them too.

No Bake Energy Balls

1 cup uncooked oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup honey

Mix all ingredients and roll into balls-delicious!

Weight Watchers Teriyaki Chicken

One of the keys to our health success is having items like this favorite Weight Watchers Teriyaki Chicken recipe on hand to grab and eat for dinner on the go. Pair this with a nice large salad, brown rice or some fresh roasted vegetables for the perfect meal. This is great meat to cook ahead, portion and freeze too!

Weight Watchers TERIYAKI CHICKEN

Teriyaki Chicken Ingredients
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Tenderloins
½ Cup Soy Sauce
2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
3 Green Onions Chopped
1 Teaspoon Ginger
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/8 Cup Water
2 Tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar

• Mix all ingredients except chicken in a small bowl.
• Pour marinade/sauce over chicken and marinade for at least 1 hour
• Skewer chicken and bake (15 minutes) or grill (3-4 minutes on each side) as preferred basting with sauce when turning meat.
• Pour remaining sauce into small saucepan and bring to boil for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
• Serve with excess sauce for dipping.

This simple and classic marinade for Low Fat Teriyaki Chicken is so easy to make and presents a perfect week night meal that is tasty and low in fat and calories.

Each chicken breast tenderloin is approximately 3 ounces and equal to 3 Weight Watchers Points.

Weight Watchers Appetizer Recipes can be perfect for playoff games or just because and these Baked Mozzarella Cheese Sticks take only moments to prepare.  The are a great mozzarella sticks recipe that will easily fix that fast food craving you are plagued with while trying to stay on your diet and healthy eating regimen. They don’t have the classic “crunch” you may be used to in the traditional fried variety but they pack tons of flavors and have the oozing cheese that we all love. Each whole cheese stick is only 2 Weight Watchers Points. Full of calcium, craving satisfying and rich in flavor this is the perfect treat!

BAKED MOZZARELLA CHEESE STICKS

Mozzarella Stick Ingredients
Low Fat Part Skin Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks
½ Cup Plain Bread Crumbs
½ Teaspoon Sage
½ Teaspoon Rosemary
½ Teaspoon Thyme
¼ Teaspoon Garlic Salt
Water

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

• Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray
• In small bowl mix together bread crumbs and seasonings
• Cut string cheese sticks in half
• Dip each half cheese stick in water and then dip into bread crumb mixture
• Place on pre-sprayed baking sheet
• Bake cheese sticks at 400 degrees for 7 minutes or until just melted.
• Remove from heat and allow to cool
• Serve

MARINARA
8 ounce can Tomato Sauce
1 Teaspoon Oregano
1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
• Mix all ingredients together in small bowl.
• Heat in microwave for 45 seconds or until heated through
• Serve with Baked Cheese sticks

These cheese sticks will not be crisp but will retain the flavor of the bread crumbs and cheese satisfying that craving you have. They are a bit messy to eat due to bread crumbs so you may prefer using a fork to cut them and dip in sauce if desired. At only 2 Weight Watchers Points for 2 Baked Mozzarella Cheese Sticks (equal to 1 string cheese stick), these are a quick and satisfying snack on your healthy eating journey.
