AllerMates-A Hip Way To Show Allergies!

Do you have kids with allergies?  I have one friend whose son is deathly allergic to peanuts.  Unfortunately many children suffer with allergies and parents live in constant fear someone will unknowinly expose their child to something that could devastate their family.  AllerMates has create a product to help with this anxiety-and one that kids will allergies LOVE!

AllerMates has created kid friendly (adored) products that help spread allergy awareness.  Their products include T-shirts, lunch bag, dogtags, charms, and most recently, the very popular wrist bands.  Their items all feature colorful and fun AllerMates-characters that portray your child’s allergy. My favorites are “P-Nutty”, “Pint”, and “Crabby”. Can you guess which allergies they portray? Here are the answers plus the whole list of zany characters!

P. Nutty (Peanut Allergy)
Nutso (Nut Allergy)
Professor Wheatley (Gluten / Wheat Allergy)
Pint (Milk Allergy)
Eggie (Egg Allergy)
Crabby (Shellfish Allergy)
Super-Cillin (Penicillin Allergy)
Bizzy (Insect Sting Allergy)
Dr. Strangeglove (Latex Allergy)
Drift (Pollen Allergy)
Detective Fin (Fish Allergy)
Soy Cool (Soy Allergy)
Teeni Tahini (Sesame Allergy)
Nine (Cat Allergy)

I was sent the  ”P-Nutty” wristband to review and gave it to my friend whose son has a terrible nut allergy.  He already has some other allergy identifiers but his mom loved the look and feel of the bracelet so she rushed it home to show him.  She immediately emailed me to let me know he thought it was so cool and awesome~so much so he insisted on wearing it to bed!  I was aware that he also has other allergies and his mom asked if there were bracelet that could hold more characters.  I was happy to report that AllerMates has the multi-allergy wristband that can hold  up to 6 charms!  Since my son has seasonal allergies (that people often mistake for a cold or sickness) I requested the pollen allergy wristband with the character “Drift” on it to check out as well~My 3 year old thinks he is hot stuff wearing the wristband!

One of my most favorite things about AllerMates is their affordability!  The individual wristbands are only $6.99 but if you need the multi-allergy one, it’s only $5.99 and each charm is a low $3.50!

How would you like to win an Allermate?  Here’s your chance!  AllerMates has given me a peanut wristband to giveaway.
